Glitz and Glam

Happy almost New Year! I’ve included some last-minute tips and tricks below to make your last outfit of 2016 the best of the year. For more on New Year’s Eve outfit ideas, see my past post here. Enjoy!

  1. Nothing rings in the new year like sequins. A recurring trend for the past few holiday seasons has been sequins. Bright and sparkly, sequins tend to give off an energetic and fun vibe, perfect for ringing in the new year. From a sequined top to a sparkling sequined dress, there are plenty of ways to incorporate sequins into your outfit. Black, silver, and gold are popular sequin colors to wear during many New Year’s Eve bashes.

  2. Back in black. Black is definitely one of my favorite choices for ringing in the new year, particularly because it goes well with a variety of colors. It’s not uncommon for people to wear all black on New Year’s Eve, so if you’re looking for something safe, consider wearing black. Black will also go well with any gold or silver accessories and “2016” glasses and/or party hats.
